About the tutors

Your Sugarcraft Online teachers, Susan and Teresa, are specialists in the art of sugar decoration and sugar flowers. Working in both the industry and education arenas for 20 and 30 years respectively they have a wealth of 'hands on' experience and knowledge to share. Both teachers now work for City & Guilds as External Verifiers in Sugarcraft, Sugar Flower and Design for Craft subjects.

In addition to City & Guilds Level 3 Diplomas in Sugar Decoration, your teachers have Certificate in Education (CertEd) qualifications, Assessor Awards, membership of the British Sugarcraft Guild and membership of the City & Guilds Association. Between them, they have won numerous awards at national and international competitions, including Gold Medals, Best in Class and Best in Show Awards at Salon Culinaire, London and East Anglia. Most prestigious of all their combined achievements are an MBE for Services to Education and a highly coveted City & Guilds Medal for Excellence.
